The curriculum of the high school guides and prepares the students for highers education, career optoins, community service and vocations. The curriculum of the High School program complies with accreditation standards of the Texas Catholic Conference (TCC) and Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS.)
To graduate from Notre Dame Catholic School, a student must pass all required courses taken while in attendance full time. A four-year high school student must have a minimum of 25 credits for a diploma.
Course Requirements for Diploma:
- 4 units of credit Religion (Transfer students must have Religion from date of enrollment.)
- 4 units of credit English
- 3 units of credit Mathematics
- 3 units of credit History (Social Studies)
- 2 units of credit Science (*3 units of credit are recommended)
- 1½ units of credit Physical Education (or equivalent)
- 1 unit of credit Computer Science
- 1 unit of credit Fine Arts
- 1 unit of credit Speech
- ½ unit of credit American Government
- ½ unit of credit Economics
- ½ unit of credit Health
- 3 units of credit Electives (2 units in a foreign language is recommended.)
For graduation from Notre Dame Catholic School, a student must pass all required courses taken while in attendance full time at the school. A four-year high school student must have a minimum of 25 credits for a diploma. To be considered a full-time student (able to represent the school in extracurricular activities or to be on the honor roll,) a student must be enrolled in Religion and a minimum of five academic subjects.

Notre Dame Catholic School students who meet admissions qualifications for Midwestern State University receive a diploma from Notre Dame Catholic School as well as college credit from MSU.

Advanced Placement (AP) and Honors courses provide rigorous academic challenges to students. Under the tutelage of outstanding faculty members, students who successfully complete the coursework and examinations have an opportunity to receive college credit or placement in honors level college classes.
